Cenote is an ultra-premium tequila made from 100% blue agave, inspired by the enchanting underground water sources of the Yucatán Peninsula. Cenote tequila is a modern tribute to the ancient Maya and their beliefs—Cenote means "sacred spring" in the Mayan language, and the Maya believed that these springs were windows to the underworld, where gods and goddesses, including the rain god Chaac, resided. This was particularly significant for them as cenotes, or karst caves, were the only sources of drinking water during drought periods. Cenote tequila has a complex flavor profile that balances roasted agave flavors with subtle wood tones.
Cenote Blanco is clear in color. Its aroma features invigorating citrus and spiciness. The taste reveals roasted agave, spices, and subtle notes of wood and green fruits, derived from three weeks of resting in American oak barrels.
Fabrica de Tequilas Finos is located in Tequila, Jalisco, Mexico. All tequila production processes, from the preparation and cooking of blue agave to the final bottling, are carried out using traditional methods, with care and skill.
