Bayou Rum is a unique, premium craft rum from the United States. It is made in traditional copper stills from a distinctive blend of molasses and raw sugar, using sugar cane grown in the same region.
Bayou Reserve Rum is a limited edition, classic dark rum designed specifically for rum enthusiasts. It is aged in bourbon and Bordeaux casks under the Solera system. The bourbon casks impart sweet vanilla and oak flavors to the rum, while the Bordeaux wine casks add fruity, spicy, and complex notes.
Louisiana Spirits LLC, located in Lacassine, Louisiana, combines the quality of Louisiana sugar cane, the vibrant culture of New Orleans, spicy foods, and unforgettable Mardi Gras celebrations into its products. The company’s facility includes a 1,700-square-meter distillery, a gallery showcasing the state’s sugar cane history, a 109-year-old relocated and restored barn, a souvenir shop, and more. All of this is set on a nine-acre property with ponds, cypress trees, and, of course, sugar cane fields.
